The Chloé brand was founded in 1952 by Gaby Aghion, a French designer of Egyptian origin. She shared an intuition with her partner Jacques Lenoir: the times were ripe for a kind of prêt-à-porter fashion aimed at a more demanding audience. Thus, Chloé successfully launched its first collections, featuring a feminine, refined style. In typical Parisian fashion, Chloé succeeded in interpreting the trends and often anticipated them, offering the right mix of elegance and creativity.
